Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) has formalized a trilateral partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) Biliran Division and the Provincial Government of Biliran aimed at strengthening support for athletes from Biliran. This collaboration was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on April 1 at the Governor’s Office, Capitol Building.

Teatro Biliran, the official theater group of Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), took center stage at the 18th Tanghal National University and Community-Based Theater Festival. Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) concluded its 5th Subol Film Festival with an awards ceremony held on March 15 at the university gymnasium. The event, part of the month-long celebration of National Arts Month 2024, was organized by the Department of Communication (DepComm), The Pillar Publication, and Communication Arts Guild (CAG) to acknowledge the filmmakers' efforts in producing their short film and documentary entries.

In line with the observance of National Women’s Month, Biliran Province State University's (BiPSU) Gender and Development (GAD) Office, in collaboration with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), organized a two-day Workforce Onboarding and Gender Sensitivity Training. The event occurred on March 13 and March 20 at the BiPSU Hyflex Audio Visual Center (HAVC).

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) was officially acknowledged as a recipient of the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Level II recognition by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through DTI Regional Office 8 Director Engr. Celerina T. Bato, CESO III. The conferment ceremony took place at the university gymnasium on March 15.

The Molder Publication, the official student publication of Biliran Province State University Laboratory High School (BiPSU LHS), secured numerous awards at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2024 held at Naval Central School (NCS) SPED Center, Naval, Biliran from February 22 to 24.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recently granted Certificate of Compliance (COPC) for Biliran Province State University's (BiPSU) Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management (BSBA-FM) and Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) programs.
