The event, held at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters from November 27 to December 1, focused on the personal growth of administrators and institution leaders through inclusive administration.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) has been acknowledged as a regional finalist for the NextGen Regional Accelerator Award in Local Governance by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office VIII (DILG RO-8). The workshop, held on November 27 to 28 at the University Hostel Function Hall A, aimed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively address and prevent instances of gender-based harassment.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and Accountancy and Business Management (ABM) debate teams clinched the top spots in the high school and college categories, respectively, at the inaugural President Victor C. Cañezo, Jr. Debate Cup. Organized by the An Lantugi Debate Society, the event concluded on November 29 at the university gymnasium, marking the successful comeback of the debate organization.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) recently formalized its commitment to community development through a memorandum of agreement (MOA) signed with the Local Government Unit of Naval (LGU Naval) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). The collaboration, facilitated through the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and School of Graduate Studies (SGS), was inked on November 20 at the President’s Office Convergence Room.

Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr., CHRP, President of Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), has been elected as the new President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) for Region 8. This marks the first time in history that a BiPSU President has been chosen to lead PASUC.
