A group of student-teachers and faculty from the School of Teacher Education (STEd) recently completed an International Cultural Teaching Immersion Program at Tepumnuouy Hatyai School in Thailand. The delegation, comprising ten pre-service teachers and two faculty members, undertook the program from March 31 to April 13.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) recently organized the Cascading of WoW BiPSU 2.0 Strategy 2027 at the BiPSU Hyflex Audio Visual Center (HAVC) from April 11 to 12, in collaboration with the Institute of Solidarity in Asia (ISA). The recent Heat Response Survey conducted by the University on April 3, 2024, revealed a preference for face-to-face classes among both students and faculty despite the challenges posed by the rising heat index.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Biliran Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) and the Department of Interior and Local Government - Biliran (DILG -Biliran) to enhance the capabilities of Barangay Violence Against Women and Children (BVAWC) desk officers and capacitate barangay police enforcers through capacity building initiatives. The MOA signing ceremony took place last April 5 at the Office of the President Convergence Room.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) President Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, Jr. discussed the university's recent initiatives on addressing the increasing heat index in an interview with Bombo Radyo Tacloban on April 3. Highlighting the launch of the Study Hub and Coworking Spaces as a key initiative, Dr. Cañezo emphasized its role in providing conducive learning environments for students and faculty.

Key officials from the Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office VIII (DPWH RO8), along with the District Engineer of the DPWH Biliran District Engineering Office, held a consultative meeting with Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) President, Dr. Victor C. Cañezo, and officials from the BiPSU Engineering and Development Office (EPDO) on April 2.

Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) has formalized a trilateral partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd) Biliran Division and the Provincial Government of Biliran aimed at strengthening support for athletes from Biliran. This collaboration was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on April 1 at the Governor’s Office, Capitol Building.
