Biliran Province State University (BiPSU) proudly secured the Silver Award at the Philippine National Research Awards 2025, celebrating a milestone achievement of producing 75 Scopus-Indexed publications. This distinction affirms the university's steadfast commitment to advancing academic excellence and fostering a vibrant culture of research productivity.

The Silver Award is specifically conferred upon institutions that successfully publish between 71 and 99 Scopus-Indexed research outputs. By surpassing the threshold with 75 recognized publications, BiPSU firmly positions itself among the nation’s leading contributors to scholarly innovation and knowledge creation.

During the formal recognition, the award was presented today, April 14 by Dr. Don Eliseo Lucero Prisno III, Founder of the Global Health Focus (GHF) University Excellence, and Mr. Jerico B. Ogaya, the program's Manager. The accolade highlights the substantial progress the university has made in advancing rigorous research, driving innovation, and expanding its scholarly impact across the country.
