Biliran Province State University welcomed a delegation from The University of Da Nang, Vietnam, led by Dr. Nguyen Ha Huy Cuong, director of the Software Development Centre, for the Internationalization Technology Lecture Series held on October 8  at the BiPSU Gymnasium.

The lecture was attended by students from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS), Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS), and Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) programs, providing them with an opportunity to learn from an international expert in the field of technology.

Following the lecture, BiPSU and the Software Development Centre - The University of Da Nang formalized their academic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Dr. Erwin G. Salvatierra, vice president for Academic Affairs and Lifelong Learning, represented BiPSU during the ceremony, while Dr. Nguyen Ha Huy Cuong represented the University of Da Nang. 

The MOU covers several areas of cooperation, including student and faculty exchanges, exchange of academic information and publications, joint research activities, seminars, workshops, training programs, and other academic and cultural exchanges. The agreement will remain in effect for five years.

Furthermore, the visiting delegation toured the BiPSU campus and met with University officials to discuss possible areas of collaboration between the two institutions.
