In the course of Biliran Province State University’s 50th Founding Anniversary was the battle of agility, speed and endurance as the four universities faced head on during the Inter-University Basketball Tournament last August 27-29 at the University Gymnasium.

Samar State University (SSU) Sharks, Southern Leyte State University (SLSU) Kingfishers, Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) Eagles and BiPSU Tigers battle it out in aiming to conquer their way to victory. Even in the hardcourt, University President Dr. Victor C. Canezo, Jr. never ceased to remind the essential of weaving of worthiness. “In this inter-university basketball tournament, we could be able to weave—worthiness in staging sportsmanship, camaraderie, and friendship.” Teams from the respective universities will soon be witnessed again in stealing the golden triumph in this year’s State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) to be held at SLSU
